Extension of a residential building

Geological report, geotechnical report and seismic modelling report for the extension of a residential building.
Dynamic penetration testing (DPSH) and static penetration testing (CPT) were performed to investigate the litho-stratigraphic, hydrogeologic, and geotechnical properties of the subsurface. 
During construction, groundwater drawdown was performed by deep wells.
The existing house was underpinned.
Due to the poor geotechnical subsurface conditions, soil replacement was carried out. The bearing capacity was verified by means of plate bearing tests.
