Geologic site management

Geological site supervision was carried out during earthmoving and excavation work of partly polluted soil in the industrial zone of Bolzano.
In cooperation with the executing dredging companies and chemical laboratories, as well as with the competent control bodies of the provincial administration, the site was cleaned up and remediated from the sources of pollution.
Contaminated soil was transported to landfills as waste, with the chemical composition first being defined by laboratory analyses and then assigned the corresponding European Waste Code (CER).
The proper reuse of the clean soil at the site was organised.
