Environmental Risk Analysis (ERA)

Environmental investigations carried out on the project site revealed that the contamination threshold concentrations (CSC) were exceeded. 
Therefore, a environmental risk analysis according to Decreto della Giunta Provinciale n. 102/2021 was carried out for the site. The first step was the characterisation and elaboration of the conceptual site model for the construction site.
Based on this, the environmental risk analysis was carried out both in direct mode (forward) to calculate the baseline risk levels from contamination within the project area,
and in reverse mode (backward) to identify the risk threshold concentrations (CSR) that may remain within the site.
The risk analysis was realized using the software RBCA Tool Kit for Chemical Release, version 2.6.
