Electrification of the Venosta/Vinschgau valley train line

Geological site supervision was carried out for the project of electrification of the Venosta/Vinschgau valley train line.
The Merano-Mals railway line was equipped with more than 1250 masts along the approx. 59.8 km long railway line.
Indirect foundations (foundation piles) were realised for the erection of the masts. The foundation piles were driven into the ground to a depth of between 4 and 6 m from ground level.
